Anyway, I figured I would get a pair for myself and see what all the fuss was about. I found inexpensive ones from Zara, and have to admit they really aren’t as comfortable as I would have hoped being that the heel is like one inch! I guess I’ll have to learn how to walk in them? It feels awkward balancing on such a short heel with the slingback. I actually feel more confident walking in a pair of high heel pumps! Jeeze I give those grandmas credit! I felt like I got a leg workout walking in these shoes all day! Besides the fact that they are difficult to walk in, I really love how they look with my Levis. I styled them with a linen buttondown and a cute hat to finish off this simple spring look!
Who else has jumped on board with this footwear trend and am I the only person who feels uncomfy wearing them? Maybe I should just invest in a nicer pair. Suggestions of different brands/styles? I would love to get some feedback from anyone who has them! I’m linking all the details below from this outfit at the bottom as usual. Enjoy!
